About Me

My photo
"Chuck"
My name's Chuck. I'm a US Navy sailor, ex-soldier, college grad, aspiring author, history buff and a fan of pretty much all things 19th Century. I am a miniature wargamer and Great War reenactor(Company G, 364th Infantry Regiment, 91st Division, A.E.F.), and I've been known to dabble in drawing comic books. I have been painting miniatures since I was in high school, and I've been wargaming since my freshman year of college. I've wargamed many different periods, but my favorite period has to be Napoleonics. I am a bachelor, currently seeking an attractive, intelligent, Christian girl who won't mind me splitting my love between her and my collection of toy soldiers.

"ADVENTURE GAMING AS A HOBBY"

"Adventure Gaming (also known by some as wargaming) is the recreation of military or fantasy encounters giving the participants an exercise in the tactics of their favorite General such as Napoleon, Lee or Rommel. Rules have been thoroughly researched to provide the ultimate in realism. Through the use of carefully compiled statistics and odds tables, nearly any event can be recreated. All rules are designed to require the player to actually use the tactics of the period. Therefore, each period has a feel all its own resulting in a hobby with endless possibilities. The command descisions, the satisfaction of seeing your own painted figures in the various historical formations, the excitement of launching a grand attack with your favorite regiment on the enemy's lines--all are a part of Adventure Gaming!"
